Congregations
There are four different congregations that meet across the week at Berwick Anglican and you are most welcome at any one of them. So come along and join us!
8:30am Traditional
Our 8:30am service is a Traditional Robed Prayer Book service. We enjoy a rich time of worship every week as we take part in the rich liturgy of the Prayer Book, hear from God’s word, pray together, sing classic hymns and celebrate the Lord’s Supper together (the Lord’s Supper is celebrated on the 1st, 3rd and 4th Sundays at 8:30am). There is a time of fellowship after the service so stick around for some morning tea. Come along!
10:30am All-Age Service
Our 10:30am service is a welcoming community of people of diverse ages and backgrounds who gather together around the Lord Jesus. It’s a contemporary Anglican service that is centred on God’s Word. It’s a great service for families, with both children’s and youth specific ministries running during school terms.
After the service stick around and enjoy some warm fellowship time over a cup of tea or coffee. We also regularly have community lunches together which you are always welcome to join.
5pm Relaxed Service
Our 5pm service is relaxed and welcoming, as we gather for a simple service to hear from God together. There is a growing Young Adult community actively involved in the service alongside others from various life stages. Come along from 4:30pm for some snacks and chats before we gather for the formal part of the service where we sing, pray and listen to God together. We’d love you to join us!
Thursday 10am Prayer Book
Our Thursday 10am Prayer Book service is a quieter midweek gathering, especially suited to those who are unable to attend on Sundays.
The service includes Holy Communion each week, traditional prayers from the Prayer Book, and hymn singing accompanied by the organ. It is a smaller, welcoming congregation.
